Attics, garages and basements had always been iconic and mystic places, hosting laboratories, workshops and playgrounds for ambitious minds. In the case in hand it’s a cradle for a lifetime dream.

These days I visited Christoph Nitsch at his ranch, located at the foot of the alps, in a secluded valley where mobile phones don’t work and the clocks tick differently. About 250 miles away from the sea Christoph N. is building a 4000lbs-heavy boat in his attic; realizing one of his childhood dreams – building a Farrier F-9AR Trimaran.
